AZZURRO IP Clients NFL Network TeamCam HD upgrade of the NFL’s analog TeamCam network for IP control and transmission.  The upgraded network places an AzzurroCam robotic HD camera and transmission equipment at every NFL practice facility throughout the league as well as at NFL headquarters, NFL Network and NFL films.  The TeamCam network is used to bring HD interviews, press conference and other content from 32 sites across the US to NFL Network, through a mix of conventional broadband and higher-capacity circuits.  Through Azzurro IP, NFL Network has full remote control over all cameras, lighting and audio and the ability to select shots from across the network. Major League Baseball MLB Network has added their first remote analyst site to the Azzurro IP network and is in the process of considering several others.  The analyst can now conduct his interviews from the comfort of his home office.  Azzurro IP has designed and delivered a remote controllable robotic HD camera system that interfaces to Azzurro IP’s national IP MPLS backbone.  Utilizing h.264 encoding technology Azzurro IP has enabled two-way video transmissions of HD content encoded at 2.5 Mbps.  This has offered MLB Network an affordable way to add talent from remote sites, reducing travel costs and providing a high-quality managed video transport solution.  To make this even easier, using the Azzurro design camera system, MLB Network can control all the camera, lighting, IFB and microphone functions remotely from their Secaucus network origination facility.
