Before forming Azzurro Group, Lou was the founder and chief executive officer of Video Services Corporation (VSC). VSC was a value-added video services provider serving TV networks, cable and syndicated programming markets. Video Services Corporation was comprised of the following eight divisions: Waterfront Communications Corporation Atlantic Satellite Communications AF Associates Video Rentals Audio Plus Video International Manhattan Transfer Post Edge Cabana Over a 25-year period, he grew the business from a startup in 1975 to $100 million in sales and EBITDA of $20 million in 2000, when he sold the company. Francis G. Luperella Founder President & COO As President & COO, Francis oversees all business units and day to day operations of the Azzurro Group which are comprised of: Azzurro SI, Azzurro HD and Azzurro IP, as well as providing strategic vision and developing new services. Before forming Azzurro Group, he served as Senior Vice President, Global Operations for Ascent Media Network Services (AMNS), with facilities in metro New York, Minneapolis, Burbank, London and Singapore. In this capacity, Francis was responsible for program network origination, fiber & satellite distribution and post production around the world for customers including: Discovery Asia, MTV Asia, Nickelodeon Asia, A&E TV, YES Network, ABC, CBS, NFL Sunday Ticket, TVN, Court TV, History Channel, Biography Channel and FOX News Channel. Francis led the group of assets under AMNS which included: Waterfront Communications, Atlantic Satellite, Group W-Stanford, Group W-Minneapolis, Group W-Asia, 4MC-Burbank, 4MC-Asia and TVN-London. Prior to Ascent Media, Francis served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Waterfront Communications and Atlantic Satellite Communications (units of the Video Services Corporation) and was responsible for expanding Waterfront into the largest independent video switching facility as well as making Atlantic Satellite one of the most successful Teleports in the United States. He entered the media services industry after serving in senior financial management positions with Ericsson North America and Beirsdorf North America. Mr. Luperella received both his undergraduate and MBA diplomas from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.    bcordo@azzurrohd.com Bill Cordo Senior Sales Director Bill is responsible for the sales and marketing efforts of all business units under the Azzurro Group banner. Bill has over 13 years of experience in sales management positions in the broadcast industry. Before joining Azzurro Group, he held sales and management positions at Vyvx, Ascent Media Network Services, Broadwing Communications and Westar Satellite Services. He has been involved in major projects designing fiber and satellite transmission networks to help customers manage the transition from analog to digital transport of video, digital file transfer and converged video-voice-data services. Most recently, as Vice President Sales and Marketing at Westar, he was responsible for business development for a $6 million privately owned company. He managed the transition and growth of their terrestrial business from a five-city analog network to an eight-city fully-digital network while also enhancing customer services and satisfaction. With Azzurro Group, Bill is taking this diverse experience and applying it to solve customer problems using the Azzurro Group’s full portfolio of services. Working closely with the heads of each division, Bill can call in the expertise required to engineer and manage a solution that meets the specific needs of the customer.
